As collegiate women, the members of Delta Zeta understand the purpose of their college education and therefore take their academics very seriously. Each member is required to have a specific cummulative grade point average in order to have the social privelages provided by the sorority, and this past semester, we successfully raised our cummulative GPA to 3.11!
Each week the members must complete their study hall hours in the library or at the Delta Zeta house. New members are required to complete ten hours a week. Once the member is initiated, the study hall hours vary depending upon one's GPA.
The members have recently begun a mentoring program in which the older sisters sign up to help another member who is having difficulty with a test or course. Members are also given a complete list of each sister's major and minor and their specific field of study.
If you have any questions about the academics of Delta Zeta, please inquire with Mailyn Knight at Mailyn890@live.missouristate.edu.
